Information: Fire south of Norwood

SMC Alerts: The fire off of V44 W is currently burning north/northeast toward Y43 along the Cone Road. Homes off of Mountain View Lane and the Cone Road have been evacuated. Homes along Y43 between 43ZS and 45Y and in Fitts Subdivision are not currently threatened but should be prepared to leave. Homes along 43ZS are also not currently threatened. Air resources are over the fire now; do not fly drones!!!

A shelter is being set up at the Norwood School and the Fairgrounds is open to take large animals. The attached photo (email only) is a rough sketch of the location of the fire. We are working to get more information up on Facebook.
