SMC Alerts: Mitigation work will be done on Ophir Road on Wednesday, March 12th. The gates will close at 8:15 a.m. and work will begin at 8:30 a.m. San Miguel County staff will be present to prohibit traffic from entering the area while work is taking place, and it is unknown how the closure will last. Residents, motorists, and recreationists should plan for delays after the mitigation and schedule your travel in or out of the closure area accordingly.
