Red Flag Warning July 10, 2025

SMC Alerts:

A Red Flag Warning is in effect for all of San Miguel County from noon until 8:00PM today, Thursday, July 10. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.

* WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...6 to 11 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Reminder that all of unincorporated San Miguel County and all BLM and USFS lands within the county are under Stage 1 Fire Restrictions.
