Traffic Alert Hwy 62 closed both directions at milepost 10

SMC Alerts: Hwy 62 is currently blocked at milepost 10 due to a modular home that came off of a truck. Both lanes are blocked and there is no estimated time of reopening. Travelers are advised to take the following alternate routes and deputies are posted at the intersections to direct traffic:

- If travelling from Placerville to Ridgway, turn right onto CR 56V (Green Meadows Lane - approximately milepost 4 on Hwy 62) and then turn left onto CR 58P to get back to Hwy 62.

- If traveling from Ridgway to Placerville, turn left onto CR 58P (at approximately milepost 11 on Hwy 62) and then right on 56V or follow 58P to Hwy 145 at Sawpit.
