Additional Red Flag Warning June 10, 2026

SMC Alerts:
The US National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for today, Wednesday, June 10 from 10am to 10pm due to gusty winds, low relative humidity, and dry fuels. Warnings are in effect for all of San Miguel County and most of the Western Slope. A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued for Thursday.

Expect widespread critical fire weather conditions through the rest of the week and into next week with continued hot, dry and windy weather.

Note that outdoor burning is prohibited by County Ordinance in areas under a Red Flag Warning, and privately-owned, unincorporated lands within the Norwood and Egnar Fire Protection Districts are under Stage 1 Fire Restrictions. Visit www.weather.gov/gjt for more weather-related information.
