Hwy 145 Closed due to Debris Flows

Hwy 145 is temporarily closed between Nimbus Drive (near the top of Keystone Hill, 2 miles north of the Mountain Village area) and Sawpit, from Mile Point 74 to Mile Point 78. The highway is impassable due to mudslides and debris in the road, including trees and large rocks. CDOT and CSP have been advised and are on their way. It is unknown how long the road will be closed, but expect several hours. A flash flood warning is in effect for all of San Miguel County at this time - do not cross flooded roads and stay away from drainages and other areas that may channel water. Do not attempt to navigate roads such as Last Dollar Pass.
