Exciting News: Launch of the ReachWell School Communication System

Dear Southmoor Community,

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new school communication system, ReachWell! This platform will streamline communication between our school, teachers, and families, ensuring everyone stays informed and connected.

Here’s a brief overview of the launch timeline:

  • August 29: Staff training on ReachWell begins.
  • August 30: Our first school-wide communication will be sent through ReachWell.
  • September 3-6: Teachers will conduct a "dry run" to familiarize themselves with the system and communicate with families.
  • September 9-13: We will assist our entire school community in setting up the ReachWell app and ensuring everyone is comfortable using it.
  • September 30: Full implementation and regular use of the ReachWell app will begin.

We ask all families to download the ReachWell App and, starting September 12, 2024, verify their accounts with codes sent via email.  Even without verification, families will still receive all communication via email, but the codes are necessary to use all app features, including chatting directly with teachers and staff.  To support our families during this transition, we will provide the following resources moving forward:

  • QR Codes: These will be available around the school and on our website, allowing quick and easy access to download the ReachWell app.
  • App Set-Up Assistance: Our PTO and school office support team will be available during the launch period to assist with any app-related questions or issues.
  • Tutorial Videos: Step-by-step videos will be shared to guide you through downloading, setting up, and using the app effectively.

We are excited about the positive impact ReachWell will have on our school community and look forward to a seamless transition. Your active participation and feedback are invaluable to us during this process.
