Action Required: Safety During Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Dear Southmoor Families,

Ensuring the safety of our students during drop-off and pick-up times is one of our top priorities. To maintain a smooth and safe process for everyone, we kindly ask for your attention to the following safety guidelines:

Parking Considerations: Please park only in designated areas. Avoid parking in restricted zones or leaving your vehicle unattended in the drop-off or pick-up lanes.
Quick Drop-Off and Pick-Up: For those using the drive-through drop-off and pick-up, please ensure that your child is ready to exit/enter the vehicle quickly to keep the line moving smoothly.
No U-Turns: For the safety of our students, families, and other drivers, U-turns on streets near the school are strictly prohibited.
Speed Limit: Please adhere to the speed limit in school zones. Slowing down around the school ensures the safety of everyone, especially our students who may be crossing the street.
Do Not Leave Your Car Unattended: Cars should not be left unattended in the drop-off or pick-up zones. This ensures the flow of traffic and keeps these areas clear for others.
Crosswalk Use: Always use designated crosswalks when walking your child to and from school. Please refrain from crossing in areas without crosswalks.
