Southmoor Student Awards for Trimester 1

Dear Southmoor Families,
At Southmoor, we recognize and celebrate the students’ character, development, and excellence in various aspects of school life. As a part of this celebration, we hold an awarding ceremony at the end of every trimester to give awards to exceptional students. These awards include the following as described:

Magnificent Moose Award: This award is given to a student who is a role model who consistently demonstrates respect, responsibility, collaboration, and kindness.

Perseverance Award: This award is given to a student who demonstrates grit, hard work, and resilience in overcoming challenges.

Leadership Award: This award is given to a student who demonstrates leadership skills that positively contribute to the success of the community of learners at Southmoor.

Student Achievement Award: This award is given to students who demonstrate leadership, character development, academic excellence, and social and emotional learning.

I Can Award: This award is given to students who demonstrate effort, hard work, and progress in everything they do.

Shining Star: This award is given to a student with competence in Music, Arts, and PE. (Done by Special teachers)

Language Award: This award is given to a student for showing resilience, perseverance, and growth in language skills and development (for MLE Specialist only)
The awarding assembly will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, for the following grade levels as scheduled:

8:30 - 9:15 Grades ECE - 2
