Southmoor’s Commitment to Improvement: Engaging Families in Our Strategic Plan

Dear Southmoor Families,

As part of Southmoor’s ongoing efforts to ensure excellence for every student, we are excited to invite you to a discussion about two key programs that directly support our students' success:

1. Multilingual Education (MLE) Program: Our approach to supporting diverse learners in achieving academic excellence while honoring their cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

2. Multi-tiered System of Support (MTSS): A framework designed to provide targeted academic and behavioral interventions to meet the unique needs of every student, ensuring growth and success at all levels.

Additionally, we would like to explore your input by sharing some topics you would like us to discuss aligned with Southmoor’s strategic plan, including:

• Standards-Based Instruction: Ensuring rigorous and aligned teaching for all students.

• Data-Driven Instruction: Using student performance data to inform and refine instructional practices.

• Teacher Observation, Feedback, and Coaching: Strengthening teacher effectiveness to maximize student outcomes.
