End of the Year Picnic and Celebration

Dear Southmoor Families,

We are excited to celebrate the end of the school year with our students at the upcoming End of Year Picnic! Based on the current weather forecast, we are planning to move forward with an outdoor celebration using designated areas around the school.

Here is our plan:

• Grade K and 1 will gather on the blacktop.

• Grade 2 and 3 will be located in the staff parking lot.

• Grade 4 will gather in front of the building.

If the weather does not allow for an outdoor event, all celebrations will be moved into classrooms. Grade-level teams are prepared for this shift, and teachers will communicate directly with families should any changes occur.

We appreciate your flexibility and continued support as we work to ensure a safe and joyful celebration for our students. Please stay connected with your child’s teacher or room parent for any additional updates or ways to support your class.
