Culvert Failure Near Hendrick Dog Park Causes Ditch Disruptions and Minor Flooding

A culvert failure near Hendrick Dog Park impacted multiple ditches this week. Utilities staff responded to minor flooding from the Weaver Ditch and discovered that the Rockford Ditch culvert had failed at its crossing with the Weaver, significantly increasing flow into the Weaver. Town staff assisted the Rockford Ditch Association with a temporary pipe-in-a-pipe repair by shutting down sections of the Weaver and Carbondale ditches to dry the area.
