Dear SOAR Community,

So far this school year, we have had to issue two legal citations to parents/guardians. The citations were for not following the directions of traffic staff, driving aggressively and putting staff and students in danger. The legal citations issued by the school are trespass restricted. This means that once issued, access to the school is restricted. Restricted access means, you are not be allowed to drive on to campus, or enter the building without an appointment and an approved escort. If you attempt to enter the campus or school building without an approved escort, Denver Police Department will be called and you will receive a criminal trespass citation and be immediately escorted out off of the campus.

Families who find themselves in this situation are required to have an alternative adult drive on to campus or select a bus stop.

Ignoring the directions provided by traffic staff and/or continuing with actions that could severely injure staff or students is unacceptable and not tolerated in the SOAR community. It is critical that we work together to ensure that everyone is our community has a safe environment at all times.
