Dear SOAR Families,

SOAR’s 5th Grade Student Leadership Team is hosting a donation drive for the Denver Animal Shelter located on 1241 W. Bayaud Ave Tuesday, April 4 - Friday, April 14. One of the goals of the student leadership team is to complete a service project this school year. Through their collaboration, they discovered that they had a passion for helping animals in need, which is why they have chosen the Denver Animal Shelter.

If you and/or your student would like to donate, you may drop off items in the designated bins near the school’s entrance. Students can also drop off items in bins in the lower and upper commons. A list of donatable items are listed below.

Donatable Items:

Pet food in original bag
Treats in original bag
Towels, blankets, dog beds (may be used but in good condition)
New or gently used pet toys
Stainless steel and ceramic food/water bowls
Collars and leashes
Litter
Pee Pads
