Dear SOAR Families,

On cold days like today, let's revisit some crucial points concerning inclement weather:

• Dress for the Weather: Ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the cold. We have outdoor recess if the temperature exceeds 20 degrees, so coats, hats, and gloves are a must.
• Weather-Related Decisions: SOAR aligns with Denver Public Schools (DPS) for weather-related school delays/closures. Stay tuned to local TV and radio stations (channel 9, 7, 31, etc.), our email notifications, app updates, social media, and website for announcements.
• Early Building Entry: Please remember, on cold weather days, students should not enter the building before 8:25 AM. Early arrivals risk being outside in the cold without supervision and may be referred to our School Social Worker.
