Dear SOAR Families,

Coming on October 15th - 17th 2024 we will be hosting Eye Love Care. Eye Love Care is an organization with a full vision team, including experienced optometrists, who will come to the school and provide full comprehensive eye exams to our students rather than just screenings regardless of your family’s insurance status! All students examined will receive a folder with all of the exam results for you and your doctor. If your student needs glasses, Eye Love Care will provide them with a FREE pair of glasses! The student will even get to pick out their frames that very same day, and then once they have the glasses made in about 2-3 weeks, they will come back to fit them. Also, if the student loses or breaks their glasses during the school year, all you have to do is let our Health Aide or your teacher know and Eye Love Care will send out a second pair for free AGAIN!

If you would like your child to participate in the exam your student will come home with a permission packet and a health history form today that must be turned in to the office by Friday, October 4th. You may also fill out an online form at the link below.
