Hello SOAR Families!

It has been so exciting having students experience so many opportunities both on and off campus this month – with lots more to come for the rest of the year. 😊

We want to reiterate that all parents that attend ANY fieldwork need to complete the Background Check acknowledgement form & be approved on the Grade level chaperone approval list. The chaperones selected MUST ride the bus to and from the fieldwork with our SOAR staff and students. No parent can be a chaperone if they cannot or do not follow these guidelines. This is a requirement of our school’s insurance.

While many of the places that we go are public, we are out on Fieldwork for specific learning opportunities and students must stay with the teacher or the approved chaperones during the trip. We cannot invite families who are not serving as a chaperone to go on our trip with the class.
