Hi Families!
We have updated our SOAR Family Resource Tab: Immigration Resources on our school website found HERE for you to access.
Have you been wondering how to talk to your children about the news or changing policies? Please check the immigration resource tab to better support you. These resources are there for all families to engage in age appropriate conversations.
Additionally, below you will find updates from the Denver Public School Community Hub!
I hope you find something that brings you joy this weekend and we look forward to seeing all your children at school on Monday!

Food Bank of the Rockies (FBR)
All six Community Hubs will soon be registered with Food Bank of the Rockies. This means we will be able to access their food bank and shop for food to bring back to the hubs and distribute to DPS families and Denver residents. These items will be provided at no cost to shoppers. Becoming a partner with FBR has taken months since there is an approval process, onsite inspection and partnership training. There are about 800 approved partners with FBR throughout the state of Colorado. To view a map of agencies that distribute food please visit: https://www.foodbankrockies.org/find-food/ For residents 60 and older there is a food delivery program called Everyday Eats. Qualifications include: age, reside in Colorado, and meet income guidelines. Community members can call 720-473-6323 to sign up or visit: https://www.foodbankrockies.org/about/programs/everyday-eats/
