Recess at SOAR

Outdoor

As our days become colder please make sure you send your child to school dressed appropriately for the weather. Students will have outdoor recess if the temperature is above 21 degrees.

This requires students to have coats, hats, and gloves.

We will exercise the following precautionary measures if holding recess outdoors:

The temperature must be at or above 21 degrees
No active lightning or thunderstorms
Playground safety: the playground equipment and ground surface is clear of ice and/or frozen snow that could cause injury
