Dear SOAR Parents,

We are excited to announce Attendance Matters Week at SOAR! During this week is all about fostering a sense of connection, celebrating our diverse cultures, and encouraging our students to be their unique selves while promoting the importance of regular attendance.

Here's a brief overview of the activities and events we have planned:

Monday: Attendance Matters Kick-off!

• Connect and create memories with your Habit Crew Classroom!
• Each class will connect with another grade to create an art project.

Tuesday: Connection through Culture

• Wear or bring an item from your culture to celebrate our rich diversity.

Wednesday: Be YOU, School Picture Day

• Free Dress Day! Let your child express their unique style.
• THERAPY DOGS will visit each classroom to provide comfort and joy.

Thursday: Raise to the TOP, Hat Day!

• All classes will engage in a creative hat-making activity.
• Students are encouraged to wear hats from home to showcase their individuality.

Friday: When you achieve, we all achieve!

• SCHOOL GOAL: Achieve 98% attendance for the entire week!
• Celebratory Popsicle Party during lunch for reaching our goal.
• Sport Day: Jersey or SOAR 

We invite you to participate in these activities alongside your child to reinforce the importance of attendance and to create lasting memories together. Your involvement makes a significant difference in your child's educational journey.
